Farhan Akhtar shifts gears to 'Operation Trident', postpones 'Don 3'?

Farhan Akhtar's production house recently revealed details about the upcoming film 'Operation Trident', which will explore the Indian Navy's pivotal attack during the 1971 India-Pakistan War.

The announcement of 'Operation Trident', supported by Excel Entertainment in partnership with Sunshine Digimedia, took place at Nausena Bhawan, the modern headquarters of the Indian Navy in New Delhi.
Navy chief Admiral R Hari Kumar, along with producer Ritesh Sidhwani, co-producers Kassim Jagmagia and Vishal Ramchandani, and producer Abhinav Shukla and co-producer Priyanka Belorkar, reportedly graced the event.

Meanwhile, Farhan is gearing up for 'Don 3', with Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani set to lead the cast. Initially planned to kick off in August 2024, the shooting schedule has been postponed to December this year.

As per Peepingmoon.com, Farhan is shifting his focus to acting, with plans to star in an action-packed film directed by Razneesh Razy Ghai. Scheduled to start filming in June, Farhan's involvement in this project signals an exciting new direction for his career. The report also hints at a potential delay in 'Don 3', possibly due to an unfinished script, although there hasn't been any official confirmation regarding this issue from the team.

Apart from 'Don 3', Farhan Akhtar is also busy producing another highly anticipated film titled 'Jee Le Zaraa'. This project features a star-studded cast including Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Despite being announced in 2021, there hasn't been any recent update on the progress of the film.
