Lalit takes a dig at trolls criticising Sushmita

Lalit Modi dropped a bomb on social media last month when he revealed that he’s dating none other than Sushmita Sen . Since then much has been said about their relationship. Be it trolling Modi for being too old to date Sushmita or the former Miss Universe being tagged ‘gold digger’ by trolls; it’s been an eventful journey so far for the couple.

On Saturday, Lalit took a cheeky dig at those who continue to criticize and troll him as he shared a news article that attempted to sympathize with him and Sushmita.

Sharing a series of screenshots from a news article about him Lalit captioned the post as, "a very accurate piece of #journalism after a long time".

As you can see in the screenshots of the article, it tries to explain how Lalit Modi has been trolled for his relationship with Sushmita Sen. In the article, Kareena Kapoor’s name has also been mentioned for how she was also trolled for getting married to an older Saif Ali Khan and was tagged as a ‘gold digger’ by netizens.

Lalit Modi announced his relationship with Sushmita Sen on July 14 through a social media post. He made it public by sharing a series of pictures on his Instagram handle and called Sushmita his ‘better half’. He captioned the post, “Just back in London after a whirling global tour #maldives # sardinia with the families - not to mention my #betterhalf @sushmitasen47 - a new beginning a new life finally. Over the moon.”

Incidentally, Sushmita decided to remain silent about the relationship while Lalit is quite outspoken about their new journey together often dropping adorable comments on the former Miss Uninerse’s social media posts. He has even mentioned ‘My love Sushmita Sen’ on his Instagram bio.
