Lauren Graham opens up about her relationship with Matthew Perry

During a recent event for her book of essays, "Have I Told You This Already?", actress Lauren Graham shared heartfelt memories of her friendship with the late Matthew Perry. Speaking at the Lincoln Theater in Washington, D.C., Graham fondly recalled Perry as a "friend and a constant" in her life.

Although Graham clarified that Perry was "not technically ever a boyfriend," she described him as "an almost" in her life.
Their friendship went through various phases, and Perry had re-entered Graham's life just the year before his passing.

Graham reminisced about Perry's thoughtful gestures, mentioning how he gifted her a pickleball set for her birthday, reflecting his passion for tennis and pickleball, along with a card that humorously read, "Be older."
Expressing her sorrow over Perry's death, Graham described it as "a terrible loss" and admitted that it was still difficult to believe.

Graham and Perry had collaborated on several projects throughout their careers, including the 2008 film "Birds of America," Aaron Sorkin's show 'Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip' in 2006, the comedy series "Go On" in 2012, and 'The Odd Couple' in 2014.

In terms of Graham's personal life, she had a long-term relationship with her 'Parenthood' co-star, Peter Krause, which lasted from 2010 to 2021.

Meanwhile, Perry had been romantically linked to several high-profile figures over the years, including Julia Roberts, Cameron Diaz, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Yasmine Bleeth.

Perry passed away on October 28 at his Los Angeles home from acute effects of ketamine, according to his autopsy report. He was 54.

Jennifer Aniston, Perry's "Friends" co-star, encouraged fans to celebrate his life, emphasizing the importance of honoring his memory.
