Prabhas to attend Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna's Pushpa pre-release event? Here's the truth

Ever since rumours made rounds that Prabhas will attend the grand pre-release event of Sukumar ’s Pushpa: The Rise , internet has been abuzz with excited fans looking forward to seeing the Radhe Shyam star share the stage with Allu Arjun .

However, a source in the know clarified to Hyderabad Times that it’s all speculation.

“We do not know where this baseless rumour surfaced from. Prabhas is not attending the pre-release event of Pushpa as a Chief Guest. As the release date is nearing, the trailer will be out on December 4 and a date will be announced for the event. Currently, a song is being canned with Samantha and with that the entire shoot of Pushpa’s first part is wrapped up.”

Four songs from Pushpa, composed by Devi Sri Prasad have already been released and received well. Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil also headline the rustic drama which will see the rise of a coolie into a red sandalwood smuggler. Sunil and Anasuya Bharadwaj play key roles in the film. The film will hit screens on December 17 in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam along with Telugu. It remains to be seen when the second part will hit screens. Further details are awaited.
