Reported by Midday, the rom-com will receive backing from producer Dinesh Vijan, adding to the anticipation surrounding the project. Set against the backdrop of rural India, the storyline is said to revolve around two individuals entangled in an unconventional scenario, offering a fresh perspective on love and relationships.

Director Karan Sharma plans to commence filming around July, allowing ample time for Rajkummar Rao to wrap up his ongoing project 'Srikanth - Aa Raha Hai Sabki Aankhein Kholne', and for Wamiqa Gabbi to complete her commitments, including 'Baby John' alongside Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh.
