Riya P. Gupta makes acting debut with Imlie

The first season of Imlie has enjoyed a lot of appreciation and after the generation leap the second season kickstarted just a few days back. Social media star Riya Pawan Gupta has joined the cast of the show. She is leaving no stone unturned to woo her fans by playing Parul in the show.

She says, "I'm very much connected with my character Parul, and I'm very excited to be a part of the show.

It has been a fantastic experience as my very shot on the show was a threat stunt. Also I love the character Parul and I feel it is written very creatively and also I am very similar to my on-screen character. We both believe 'Mana ki love zaruri hai but Maa baap se jyada zaruri nahi' (love is important in life but not more than parents.) Playing Parul is a balanced character, until she gets betrayed and fooled by her boyfriend. The setback makes her realise the importance of her family in her life. Parul is a bit innocent who easily trusts everyone."

Riya also adds that she is delighted to make her acting debut. "Being an actor and performing on a big screen was my childhood dream and till present day whatever things I manifested got real. I wish to explore more and grow. I'm filled with positive energy and working hard to achieve my goals. I'm delighted to make my acting debut with such a beautiful show."

Currently Megha Chakraborty , Karan Vohra and Seerat Kapoor are playing the leads in the show, previously Fahmaan Khan and Sumbul Touqeer Khan essayed the lead roles of Aryan and Imlie.
