Shalini Kapoor buys a luxurious car

Actress Shalini Kapoor , who received a lot of appreciation for her role of Mamta Oberoi in TV show ‘Sirf Tum’, is now owner of a luxurious black car.

She says, "I have enjoyed cars since my childhood. When girls used to play with dolls, kitchen sets or soft toys I always used to avoid them and used to enjoy having a collection of toy cars.

And now too cars take away my attention as and when I'm free I keep updating myself with new launch models and basics about them. I'm so happy to buy the most luxurious car today. It's like a dream come true for us. Ro (husband, Rohit Sagar ) and I fell in love the moment we set our eyes on it. Though it was my idea to buy a new car, Ro left no stone unturned to do RND about the baby we set our eyes upon. I feel that’s how we are like all my dreams are his and vice versa. We are full of gratitude towards the Supreme being for listening to our prayers and answering so beautifully."

Talking about her future plans she tells, "I have many dreams. Some came true, some are coming true and for some I'm giving my best to bring them true. I am an enthusiast and like to plan for the future while being thankful for what we have already achieved.

This new car was a part of the bucket list and I am glad it's ticked off now. If I talk about my work I'm happy with my journey so far. I have been happily enjoying my space since Sirf Tum ended. Till I take up any new project if it's exciting enough and worth the effort and time. Till then I'm enjoying my time with my family."

Shalini is married to actor Rohit Sagar, who was last seen in Naagin. Shalini has featured in shows like ‘Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev’, ‘ Qubool Hai ’, ‘Swaragini’, ‘ Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum’ among others. She has also acted in popular movies like ‘ Shehzada ’ and 'Dhadak'.
