Svatantra kicks off with a kacheri

The art fest curated by an online boutique ARTery kicked off with a kacheri by Carnatic vocalist Neyveli Santhanagopalan at Vyloppilly Samskriti Bhavan in the city. His vocals were complemented with violinist Edappally Ajith Kumar and mridangist Palakkad Mahesh Kumar .

The concert, held on Tuesday, marked the start of the five-day art fest that will also see sopana sangeetham by Ambalapuzha Vijayakumar and bharatanatyam performances by Rajashree Warrier and Divya Devaguptapu in the coming days.
