An afternoon with Kalakar Ekjut

Expressing their views and concerns on social issues through poems, songs, paintings and stories, art fraternity of Indore and Ujjain gathered at the Nehru Park on Sunday afternoon and took part in ‘Kalakar Ekjut’ hosted by Indian People’s Theatre Association (IPTA). This event is organized across the country in many cities by IPTA against violence and war. On Sunday as well, participants which included poets, singers, musicians, theatre artists etc. expressed the need for maintaining peace and love. Over 400 people took part in the event and sang Kabir songs, recited poems and stories and staged a play ‘Namak’.
