Anant Chaturdashi is an important festival for Hindus to celebrate and honour Lord Vishnu . The festival is also known by the name, Ganesh Visarjan or Anant Chaudas, which marks the end of 10-day long Ganesh festival. This year, Visarjan would be held on September 12, which falls on a Thursday.
According to Hindu Calendar , Anant Chaturdashi falls on the 14th day of the Shukla paksha in the Bhadrapad month.
