Love, laughter & good food... this Hyderabadi wedding had it all

There was good food, great music and great vibes all around Shahmeen and Adnan’s Nikah.

The Hyderabadi-style wedding took place at a resort on the outskirts of the city and was attended by prominent city folk including doctors, businessmen, lawyers and bureaucrats. The guests were welcomed with a shehnai and fragrant itr was applied to them as they entered the venue.

The bride’s parents, Shahbaz and Rubina Husain played the perfect hosts and made sure the guests were well looked after. While soothing instrumental music played in the background, some of the couple’s friends took to the dance floor and grooved to Bollywood numbers.

Rachakonda Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat , special chief secretary Arvind Kumar and DGP Govind Singh were among the guests who came to bless the couple. The guests were treated to a scrumptious spread of Hyderabadi food that included live counters of kebabs, biryani, Irani chai and desserts.
