Silent drama on seven sins
Seven deadly sins of human life were presented in a wordless form of theatre at a play in the city. Directed by Nayan Raghuvanshi, artists from Indore’s various theatre groups were cast in this silent drama. The director used colors to depict the various sins like - green for envy , pink for lust , golden for greed and red for anger. The play had a story which moved forward only through fluid body and physical movements. Sound also played a catalyst in moving the story forward, and gave a clue to the audience about the kind of feeling portrayed through that sin. One of its kind theatre experiment got mixed response from audience, some of who were witnessing such a play for the first time.
