Finding the motivation
During the lockdown, work stress and unhealthy habits took a toll on my physical and mental well-being. It wasn't until my mother confronted me about my poor habits that I realized I needed to make a change. That moment of realization sparked a determination to take control of my health and life.
The journey from fat to fit
On September 1st, I took the first step towards a healthier lifestyle by incorporating a morning walk into my routine. I also made simple yet significant changes to my diet, opting for natural sweeteners, reducing fast food consumption, and adjusting meal timings. These small changes laid the foundation for a healthier diet.
Embracing physical activity
Realizing the importance of regular exercise, I invested in a bicycle and started exploring new routes. What began as a leisurely ride for photography soon turned into a passion, with daily rides covering significant distances. The joy of cycling coupled with the beauty of nature uplifted my spirits and motivated me to push further.
Dietary changes I made
I also altered my diet a little and followed it for sixty days:
Reduced artificial sweeteners and moved to honey and jaggery.
Fast food consumption was cut back (from five days a week to only one).
I rescheduled my meals so that my last one would be at 8 p.m. and nothing else.
I stayed active all day long by having a cup of black coffee every day.
Staying consistent
With each passing day, I found myself becoming more committed to my health journey. I combined cycling with brisk walks and incorporated strength training exercises at home. Tracking my progress using a fitness band kept me motivated and accountable.
Sharing the journey
As I continued to make progress, I began sharing my journey on social media. The positive feedback and encouragement from friends and followers fueled my determination to keep going. I found joy in inspiring others to prioritize their health and well-being.

With a renewed sense of vitality and purpose, I am eager to continue my fitness journey, including incorporating gym workouts into my routine. Through simple lifestyle changes and consistent effort, I was able to transform my habits and embrace a healthier lifestyle.
