Stalin chairs northeast monsoon preparedness meet

CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu chief minister M K Stalin on Tuesday chaired a preparedness meeting for the upcoming northeast monsoon season.

In the multi-department meeting held at the secretariat, the chief minister inquired about the ongoing storm water drain projects, manpower mobilisation for disaster management, keeping boats ready and mobilizing motors.

Senior ministers, including municipal administration and water supply department minister K N Nehru, attended the meeting.
