Jos Buttler goes past Chris Gayle, becomes second highest centurion in IPL

NEW DELHI: Rajasthan Royals ' Jos Buttler showcased his batting brilliance once again as he blazed his way to a magnificent unbeaten century, catapulting himself to the second position in the list of most hundreds in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Buttler's scintillating innings not only earned him personal glory but also propelled his team to a thrilling 2-wicket win against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the match.



Buttler blasted his way to an unbeaten 60-ball 107 as Rajasthan pulled off the IPL's biggest run chase by gunning down 224/8.

Surpassing the legendary Chris Gayle , who has six tons to his name, Buttler is now at second spot with seven hundreds only behind RCB star batter Virat Kohli ’s eight centuries.
