Keep Safe Distance

Send Push

Story: An honest, hot-headed cop ACP Vijay (Jai Yadav) enters the murky work of gangsters and terrorists and swears to clean the system. His methods may be archaic and violent, but do they help him put the bad guys behind bars, win the girl's heart and save the day? That’s what the film tries and conveys in its two-hours plus runtime.

Review: This movie is like one of those over-filled buffet plates that someone clumsily tries to balance to no avail. It packs several genres into one including action, romance, drama, comedy and a whole lot of nationalistic fervour. The result is a thoroughly unenjoyable, uninspiring piece of cinema seen this year in the Hindi film industry.

Veteran actors like Kiran Kumar (MantiSomnath) and Shabaz Khan (Salim Sultan ) are used in the supporting cast in cliched roles and do what they have done in hundreds of films before; mouth their lines, get beaten black and blue and finally realize the error of their ways or die trying.

With nothing special music department, the editing or the storytelling, the only smart course to take with this film is to keep it at a considerably safe distance
