Modi is a cobra, will be back to bite ryots: CM

HYDERABAD: Chief minister A Revanth Reddy on Friday called Prime Minister Narendra Modi a cobra , who will not forget defeat at the hands of farmers and will come back to bite them (farmers) for making his BJP-led govt scrap the three farm laws in Dec 2021.

"When the Narendra Modi-led BJP govt brought three anti-farmer laws, thousands of farmers fought against Modi and made him not only to retract the three laws but also compelled him to apologise to them.
But he is like a 'Kala Nagu' (black cobra). He will not forget but hold a grudge and will make farmers pay for their protests," Revanth said while addressing 'Jana Jatara Sabha' public meeting for party candidate Suresh Shetkar in Zahirabad.

He said Modi was seeking 400 Lok Sabha seats with the intention of getting a two-thirds majority and getting back at the farmers by making them slaves to corporate giants. "The BJP also wants to scrap reservations of SCs, STs, OBCs and minorities if it gets two-thirds majority. The Modi govt has handed over ₹60 lakh crore worth of PSUs to the corporates," he said.

Taking on Zahirabad two-term sitting MP BB Patil, who is now contesting on a BJP ticket, the CM alleged: "He can at best be termed as 'business Patil'. He has never raised any issues of Zahirabad people in Parliament in the last 10 years. On the other hand, BRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao has already surrendered the Zahirabad seat to the BJP to get bail for his daughter K Kavitha in the Delhi liquor scam case. It is on the advice of KCR that Patil quit the BRS and joined the BJP."
