OnePlus Open receives major camera update with Hasselblad Master Mode and AI Eraser


The latest software update for OnePlus ' foldable flagship, the OnePlus Open , brings significant camera enhancements, including the highly anticipated Hasselblad Master mode and a new AI Eraser feature.

The marquee addition is the Hasselblad Master mode, previously exclusive to OnePlus' premium flagship phone, the OnePlus 12 series.
This professional-grade camera mode leverages Hasselblad's expertise to deliver more natural and vibrant photo colors. Users can fine-tune parameters like saturation, contrast, sharpness, and vignetting before capturing their shots.

Another feature arriving new is the AI Eraser tool integrated into the OnePlus Gallery app. Users can seamlessly remove unwanted objects or photobombers from their pictures with just a few taps, delivering cleaner and more aesthetically pleasing results.

The update improves the foldable experience by introducing enhancements to the mini window and floating window functionalities. A new swipe-up gesture allows for quick closure of mini windows while floating windows can now be resized by dragging from the bottom edge.

The Quick Settings panel has also been refreshed, with added tiles for adjusting brightness and volume levels. Furthermore, OnePlus has implemented a horizontal layout option for the lock screen clock and the ability to hide the pattern tracking when unlocking the device using the draw pattern method.

System stability improvements are also included, ensuring a smoother overall experience on the OnePlus Open. The OxygenOS 14.0.0.702 also update includes the April 2024 Android security patches .

The OxygenOS 14.0.0.702 update is initially rolling out in India, with a broader global release expected in the coming days. OnePlus Open users can check for the update manually by navigating to the Software Update section in the device's Settings app.
