In a heartwarming tribute, Boston Dynamics saluted their iconic humanoid robot, Atlas . The video chronicles Atlas' remarkable evolution, from its beginnings as a research project to a marvel of agility.

Atlas' journey began in 2009, when it was known as PETMAN , a creation for DARPA. This bipedal robot joined the ranks of groundbreaking inventions like Honda's Asimo and Boston Dynamics' own BigDog.

Over time, Atlas' abilities blossomed. From tentative walks on flat ground, it swiftly mastered navigating uneven terrain. Atlas even shed its tether, transitioning to battery power, and aced jogging, running, and climbing with awe-inspiring dexterity. The robot even endured playful attacks with hockey sticks with surprising resilience.
