Bolly Buzz: Will Alia romance Hrithik?

From stars reacting to the Government's decision to open up COVID-19 vaccines for all above 18, to Kangana Ranaut 's tweet leaving us tongue-tied and 'Chehre' makers revealing the real reason behind Rhea's absence in the promos and more - here are all the biggest headlines of the day.

In a significant decision to check the surge in COVID-19 cases in the country, the government announced that everyone above the age of 18 will be eligible to take the vaccine from May 1.

Joining the nation in welcoming the decision were Bollywood stars from Kareena Kapoor Khan to Alia Bhatt, Ananya Panday to Malaika Arora , Huma Qureshi, Mira Kapoor, and others. The stars took to their respective social media handles to laud the decision and spread awareness.

While people wait to get their vaccine shots, Priyanka Chopra shared her concerns about the rising number of cases in India. Priyanka took to her twitter handle to pen a lengthy note and shared some tips to keep the virus at bay. "The COVID-19 situation in India is grave. I'm seeing images and stories coming in from different parts of the country that are so scary...the situation is out of control and our medical fraternity is at a breaking point," she said while also appealing to fans to follow COVID norms.

Kangana Ranaut seemed to have had something entirely different to say. Sharing her thoughts about the situation, she tweeted, "Anyone who is angry, depressed and rattled with current situation is an entitled brat." While stating that mother-nature didn't owe anyone an explanation, she went on to add, "Whether we get life or death only legitimate emotion to have is gratitude, sit down idiots."

And here are some deets about why Rhea Chakraborty was really MIA in the 'Chehre' promos. Word got out that the makers decided to take the high road and not take undue advantage of the situation Rhea was in for commercial benefits and promotion of the film. Hence, the team decided to include Rhea in the promotions only when she was comfortable.

In some filmy news of the day, buzz around town states that Sanjay Leela Bhansali may just be ready to take 'Inshallah' off the back burner and revive the project with Alia Bhatt and Hrithik Roshan in lead roles. Rumour has it that SLB is keen to get the film rolling before 'Baiju Bawra' because it has a more modern and contemporary take on love. This lovestory will see the young Alia fall for a much older guy played by Hrithik.
