KARTET 2019 application process begins, exam on March 15
NEW DELHI: Office of the Commissioner for Public Instruction, Centralised Admission Cell, Kempegowda Road, Central Junior College Campus, Bangalore, Government of Karnataka has released the notification for Teacher Eligibility Test 2019.
According to the notification the KARTET 2019 examination will be conducted on Sunday, March 15, 2020.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for KARTET-2019 through department website - www.schooleducation.kar.nic.in - on or before February 25, 2020.
The candidates belonging to General or unreserved category should secure a minimum of 60% to be eligible. The candidates belonging to SC / ST / C-I, differently abled persons should secure a minimum of 55% to be eligible. The candidates who appear for KARTET and obtain the minimum qualifying marks as prescribed in the notification will be issued an Electronic Marks Statement.

KARTET 2019: Fees Structure

Note: Differently Abled Candidates are exempted from payment of examination fees.
KARTET 2019: How to apply online
Candidates are advised to apply only online through department website - www.schooleducation.kar.in. Candidate should fill in the particulars online and scan JPEG images of photograph and signature.
On completing the process of uploading all the relevant documents, the candidate should take a print of the computer generated application containing the Register no. and particulars of the candidate. Candidates should preserve their downloaded Final online application form for any future official correspondence.
Candidates should note that the particulars can be edited only before submitting the application. The particulars once filled by the candidate in Online Application is considered as final and will not be changed in future.
There will be two papers of KARTET 2019
Paper -I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
Paper- II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.

KARTET 2019: Eligibility Certificate
The Centralized Admission Cell will not issue any printed hard copy of the certificate. Candidates should enter their Register number and date of birth as given in their online application to download the Electronic Certificate after the declaration of the results.
KARTET 2019: Validity Period of KARTET Certificate
The Validity Period of KARTET qualifying certificate will be for seven years from the date of declaration of its results.
