SSC CHSL Result 2019: Tier-I results to be declared today after 7 pm

NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is going to announce the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Tier -I exam 2018-19 result on Thursday, i.e., September 12, 2019.


Earlier, the result was expected to be released on September 11, however, it was postponed due to unknown reasons. A notification available on the official website of the Commission reads, "Candidates of Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2018 may note that result of the Tier-I Examination, which was to be declared on 11.09.2019 will now be declared on 12.09.2019 after 7 PM positively."


The CHSL 2018-19 Tier-I exam was conducted from July 1, 2019 to July 11, 2019. The candidates who appeared for the examination can check their result on the official website - ssc.nic.in. All candidates are required to visit this page to check SSC CHSL Result for 2018-19 Tier-I Exam.

Around 29.68 lakh candidates registered for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (Tier-I) Examination 2018.

The Staff Selection Commission has conducted the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination (Tier-I), 2018 from 01.07.2019 to 11.07.2019 (for 09 days).

The SSC CGL Tier-II exam will be conducted on September 29, 2019, the admit card for the same will soon be released by the Commission.

Tier-II (Descriptive Paper)

Tier-II Paper will be a descriptive Paper of 100 Marks in 'Pen and Paper' Mode. The duration of the Descriptive Paper would be for one hour (20 minutes compensatory time will also be provided to the candidates eligible for scribes. The Paper would comprise writing of an Essay of 200-250 words and a Letter/ Application of approximately 150-200 words.

The minimum qualifying marks in Tier-II would be 33 per cent. The performance in Tier II would be included for preparing merit. The paper will have to be written either in Hindi or in English. Part paper written in Hindi and Part in English will be awarded zero marks.

Candidate must write his/ her correct Roll Number and affix signature and Left-hand Thumb Impression in the relevant columns in the Question Paper-cum-Answer Book failing which zero marks will be awarded.
