Union min takes part in marathon to hoist national flag

Coimbatore: Union minister of state for information and broadcasting L Murugan on Saturday urged people to hoist the national flag in all houses to support the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.

The minister flagged off a marathon from Nava India , which saw participation of hundreds of college students.

“The impact of the campaign has been huge, which is evident from the number of people taking part in it, responding to the call given by the Prime Minister,” he said.

The campaign celebrates 75 glorious years of Independence of India . “India will become a superpower by 2047 as envisioned by former President A P J Abdul Kalam. We should work together to achieve the goal,” Murugan said.

The minister later took part in an event held at PSG Institute of Medical Sciences & Research.
