Belthangady: Missing student found in Bengaluru

A 19-year-old college student who had gone missing after leaving home saying she was heading to the market has been traced to Bengaluru and safely brought back by police.

The missing student, identified as Roopa (19), a resident of Patnuru, Mundaje, was reported missing recently, prompting her family to file a complaint at the Belthangady Town Police Station.

Following the complaint, police launched a search operation including combing the surrounding areas. After days of efforts, Roopa was finally located in Bengaluru. Authorities have since escorted her back to her hometown. Further investigation into the circumstances of her disappearance is underway.
