K'taka COVID-19 update: 6997 new cases, 5460 discharges, 38 deaths on Sep 22

Bengaluru: 6,997 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from across the State on September 22 along with 5,460 recoveries and 38 deaths due to the virus.

The State’s total has now risen to 5,40,847 cases out of which 94,652 are presently active and 8,266 dead.

Districts that reported a higher number of cases include Bengaluru Urban 3,547, Mysuru 341, Hassana 315, Chikkamagaluru 252, Mandya 203, Ballari 192, Belagavi 191 and Dakshina Kannada 186.
