Ever since reports of Nitesh Tiwari's adaptation of the Hindu epic Ramayana started doing the rounds, there has been a lot of buzz around the film. With Ranbir Kapoor, Yash and Sai Pallavi among others joining the star cast, the movie is going to be a visual spectacle.
Now, recent reports suggest that there is another notable addition to the film. Hollywood songwriter Hans Zimmer is in negotiations with the producers to work on Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana. Should the plan come to pass, the movie will reach a whole new international audience. Additionally, it would be Zimmer's debut in Hindi cinema. It is anticipated that AR Rahman will also work on a few songs for the movie.

AR Rahman, Hollywood Music Composer Hans Zimmer To Collab For RamayanaAccording to a report in IndiaToday.in, Nitesh Tiwari and renowned music composer Hans Zimmer are in negotiations for Zimmer to join him on the film's soundtrack. It is also rumoured that AR Rahman will write a couple of songs for the Ranbir Kapoor-Sai Pallavi movie. Ramayana
will be Hans Zimmer's first Bollywood film if all goes according to plan.

As per the report in the news outlet, Ramayana has now officially hit the floors. The movie's Lord Ram, played by Ranbir Kapoor, is set to begin filming soon. Following a pooja ceremony, secondary artists started shooting. Ranbir Kapoor who plays Lord Ram in the film has not yet joined the team. According to sources RK will begin filming in a few days.

More On RamayanaPreviously, Nitesh Tiwari established a distinct team specifically for the Ramayana dialogue and diction department. In addition to language, particular attention is paid to the costumes and the appearance of the film's main characters. According to sources, Tiwari sent Ranbir Kapoor to a diction specialist to ensure that his delivery of the dialogue matched his vision for the movie.

Ranbir Kapoor Gearing Up To Play Lord RamWith hours of preparation spent reading dialogue and sending videos to Tiwari, Ranbir is ready to play the part of a lifetime. According to sources, the film is being shot on a massive scale, and special effects and visual effects will be produced internationally.

A source to the outlet said, “Ranbir has a certain baritone and a way of speaking his lines. It is symbolic and if you have even closed your eyes, you can recognise a dialogue purely based on Ranbir’s voice. In ‘Ramayana’, Nitesh wants to make sure Ranbir sounds different from the characters he’s played in the past. Being a versatile actor, Ranbir is enjoying this process of trying something new.”

Apart from this, Kubbra Sait had auditioned for the role of Surpanakha, Ravana's sister, in the movie.
