The couple have been sharing adorable glimpses of their married life, leaving their fans smitten. Recently, Parineeti Chopra was seen in the Netflix film Chamkila, also starring Diljit Dosanjh. She has been garnering praise for her role in the crime-drama.
Now, during her recent interaction with the series, the Ishaqzaade actress opened up about her personal life and how she decided to get married to AAP MLA Raghav Chadha within 5 minutes of meeting him in London.

In an interview with Raj Shamani on his YouTube channel, Parineeti talked about her dreamy romance with Raghav. Talking about her marriage to her husband, Parineeti remembered, “We met at an event in London, and usually, I’d just say hi and move on, but this time, I said, ‘Let’s meet for breakfast’. Including our teams, it was around 8-10 of us, and we met at breakfast the next day. I had no idea who he was an what he did. I literally looked him up after the breakfast. I learned about all the work he’s done, and we realised, not even in weeks, in days, that we would get married.”

She added, “I swear, I met Raghav, and within five minutes, I knew I was going to marry this man. I didn’t even know if he was married, had children, how old he was… He just sat at breakfast in front of me, and I’m looking at this man and saying, ‘I think I’m going to marry this man’. It was some God’s voice inside me.”

Last year, on September 23, Parineeti and Raghav tied the knot with each other. The couple wed in private at Udaipur, Rajasthan's The Leela Palace. Madhu Chopra, the mother of Priyanka Chopra, and Parineeti's aunt were present at the wedding. The wedding was also attended by Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Aaditya Thackeray, Manish Malhotra, Harbhajan Singh, and Sania Mirza. Raghav Chadha is an MP in Delhi's Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
