How to Complete e-KYC at Home

Earlier, LPG consumers had to visit their distributor or agency to complete e-KYC, which involved time-consuming visits and paperwork. Now, the process is entirely digital and can be completed using a smartphone in a few simple steps:

• Scan the QR code provided by your LPG distributor and visit https://www.pmuy.gov.in/e-kyc.html.

• Download your oil company’s app, such as IndianOil One, HP Pay, or BharatGas.

• Follow the instructions in the app and download the Aadhaar FaceRG app.

• Scan your face using the FaceRG app. Once the scan is complete, your biometric authentication and e-KYC process is done instantly.

• This digital method saves time, avoids long queues, and ensures a smooth authentication process.

Ujjwala Yojana Beneficiaries: ₹300 LPG Subsidy

The government has emphasized that Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana beneficiaries must complete e-KYC to continue receiving the ₹300 LPG subsidy. Failure to complete the process will result in discontinuation of the subsidy. Consumers who have not yet completed e-KYC are urged to do so immediately to avoid losing their benefits.
