The film also features fresh faces in the lead, which has helped it create a buzz among the younger audience. According to Rohit Jaiswal, a trade analyst, the film may premiere on Netflix after its run in theatres.
“Mohit Suri has a strong rapport with Netflix. So I feel that that will be the OTT platform of choice for Saiyaara. However, the final call will be made based on the prices quoted,” he told Indiatimes.

Saiyaara is set to open to a strong response at the Indian box office. According to Rohit Jaiswal, it is likely to earn around Rs 24 crore at the box office on the first day.
“Saiyaara has created a buzz. Given the Rs 36 crore budget, it is a blockbuster in the making. The day 1 collection will be around Rs 24 crore,” he told Indiatimes.
Going by this estimate, it will beat Dhadak (~8 crore) to record the highest opening for a debut hero. It will also outperform the likes of Metro In Dino (Rs 4 crore) and Maa (~ Rs 5 crore) with ease.
, meanwhile, has worked its magic in pre-sales. According to Variety, it sold over 45,000 tickets across major theater chains in its first 24 hours of pre-sales.
