'Drishyam 3' actor Ansiba Hassan alleges conspiracy within AMMA; Claims Tiny Tom was reason behind her resignation
'Drishyam 3' actor Ansiba Hassan has made a series of allegations against the actors' association AMMA and actor Tiny Tom. The former Joint Secretary of the organization claimed that there was a conspiracy against her within AMMA and alleged that raising complaints inside the association serves little purpose.
Speaking to the Manorama News Online, Ansiba said that she had previously approached the organization regarding issues she faced. However, she claimed that no meaningful action was taken. According to the actress, her experiences within the association eventually led her to lose confidence in the complaint mechanism available to members.
Claims of harassment following police complaintAnsiba further alleged that a former executive committee member had filed a false police complaint against her. She said the complaint resulted in her being subjected to questioning and harassment at the Thrippunithura Police Station.
According to Ansiba, she spent nearly three hours dealing with the matter at the police station. She later requested AMMA to investigate the circumstances surrounding the complaint.
The actress claimed that when she raised the issue within the organization she was informed that there was little the association could do. She also alleged that Tiny Tom dismissed the matter and questioned the seriousness of the complaint.
Tiny Tom was the reason behind her resignationOne of Ansiba's strongest allegations concerned her decision to resign from her post as Joint Secretary. The actress claimed that Tiny Tom was the primary reason behind her exit from the organization.
According to her, differences of opinion on several organizational matters gradually turned into personal conflicts. Ansiba alleged that whenever she voiced a differing view, it was taken personally and used against her.
She said, "Neena Kurup was the one who told me that he had been saying these things about me. Is it only because my name is Ansiba Hassan that people say I am trying to convert others to Islam? I may have different opinions on many issues, but does that justify spreading such stories about me? Tiny Tom has abused Neena Kurup in a very vulgar manner. I have also heard that he even raised his hand as if to hit Neena Kurup. I was afraid to speak about these things publicly because I worried it might bring a bad name to the organization or affect my career. The character assassination has crossed all limits. I had sent voice messages to all the senior members of AMMA saying that Tiny Tom was the reason for my resignation."
Alleges defamatory stories were spreadAnsiba also accused Tiny Tom of spreading false stories about her among people within the industry. She alleged that the stories were not communicated to her directly but were circulated among others and eventually reached her through third parties.
The actress claimed that the intention behind such stories was to damage her reputation and credibility.

She stated, "Tiny Tom is spreading false and inappropriate stories about me. He doesn't say these things directly to me. Instead, he tells other people, and eventually those stories reach my ears through them. One of the easiest ways to tarnish a woman's reputation is by spreading stories of alleged affairs or illicit relationships. That way, it becomes very easy to destroy a woman."
