The Chief Minister’s Ladki Bahin Yojana is designed to provide financial assistance to women who fall under the economically weaker category. Under this scheme, eligible women receive ₹1,500 per month directly into their bank accounts to help support their daily needs, improve access to nutrition, and strengthen financial independence.

The scheme specifically targets women aged 21 to 65 years

whose annual family income is below ₹2.5 lakh. It aims to reduce financial vulnerability and encourage social and economic inclusion for women in the state.

Why eKYC Is Mandatory

To ensure that the financial aid reaches genuine and eligible applicants, the government has made eKYC verification compulsory. This verification process authenticates the beneficiary’s details using Aadhaar-linked information, helping authorities prevent duplication, fraud, and incorrect benefit distribution.

Women who fail to complete their verification before the deadline may face temporary suspension of monthly assistance until their eKYC is approved. The government has emphasized that this step is necessary to maintain transparency and efficiency within the scheme.

How to Complete eKYC: Online and Offline Options Available

Beneficiaries can complete the eKYC procedure through both online and offline

methods, making the process accessible for women across rural and urban areas.

1. Online Method

Women can visit the official portal:
ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in

Here, they can complete eKYC using their Aadhaar number and registered mobile number. The online process has been designed to be simple and can be finished within minutes if all details match Aadhaar records.

2. Offline Method

For women who face difficulties with online verification, offline assistance has been arranged at multiple government centers. Beneficiaries can visit:

  • Nearest Anganwadi Center

  • Setu Center

  • Tehsil Office

Officials at these centers will help complete the verification using required documents and Aadhaar authentication tools.

Special Provisions for Certain Beneficiary Groups

The government has also announced technical enhancements on the website to support women facing unique circumstances. These include:

  • Widows

  • Divorced women

  • Women whose father or husband is deceased

Such beneficiaries often encounter documentation-related complications, and the updated system aims to ensure they are not left out of the scheme.

Annual Renewal Requirement

In addition to the one-time deadline approaching in November 2025, the government has clarified that beneficiaries will need to update their eKYC every year by June. This yearly renewal will help maintain an accurate beneficiary database and ensure timely delivery of financial assistance.

Act Before the Deadline

With the final date approaching, eligible women are advised to complete their eKYC as soon as possible to avoid disruption in monthly benefits. The scheme plays a crucial role in supporting women’s financial well-being, and timely verification is essential to continue receiving the ₹1,500 assistance smoothly.
