Unveiling 'Champion': A Gripping Period Sports Drama Set to Inspire
Following the remarkable success of Kalki 2898 AD, the creative team has collaborated with ZEE Studios to unveil Champion, a compelling period sports drama directed by the acclaimed National Award-winning filmmaker Pradeep Advaitham. This ambitious project is produced by Swapna Cinemas, a branch of Vyjayanthi Movies, in partnership with Anandi Art Creations and Concept Films. The film features Roshann in the leading role, alongside Anaswara Rajan as the female protagonist.
Set against the backdrop of pre-Independence India, Champion narrates the inspiring tale of Michael C Williams, whose life is deeply intertwined with his passion for football. The storyline explores his victories, challenges, and unwavering determination as he confronts societal obstacles and personal hardships in his quest for success, both on the pitch and in life.
The teaser, released on Friday, has garnered an enthusiastic response, elevating audience expectations.
