Utpanna Ekadashi 2025: Story
According to the Hindu scriptures, there once was a demon named Murasura, who terrorized mankind with his evil activities. He frightened the gods, who turned to Lord Vishnu for assistance. After that, he battled Lord Vishnu for a hundred years. This means that Lord Vishnu went into a cave called Himavati to rest and slept there for a while.

When Lord Vishnu was sleeping, a lovely woman with divine feminine energy appeared in front of Murasura, who had entered the cave to murder him. After a great struggle, the demon was killed. When Lord Vishnu got awake from his sleep, he was astounded to see everything. Shree Hari was ecstatic, saw that feminine force as a part of himself, and gave her the name Utpanna Ekadashi.
