Mandhana also requested that both fans and journalists respect the privacy of the families involved. “I would like to close this matter here and implore all of you to do the same. I request you to please respect the privacy of both families at this time and allow us the space to process and move on at our own pace.”

Commitment To Cricket Remains Strong

Despite personal setbacks, Mandhana underlined that her professional focus remains unwavering. “I believe there is a higher purpose driving us all and for me that has always been representing my country at the highest level. I hope to continue to play and win trophies for India for as long as possible and that is where my focus will forever be.” She concluded by expressing gratitude to her supporters: “Thank you for all your support. It’s time to move forward.”

Wedding Postponement Due To Health Emergencies

The wedding, originally scheduled for 23 November 2025 in Sangli, Maharashtra, was halted on the morning of the event when Mandhana’s father, Srinivas Mandhana, suffered severe chest pain. Medical tests revealed elevated cardiac enzymes, requiring immediate hospital observation.

Shortly afterwards, Palash Muchhal also required medical care and was admitted to hospital. Due to the sudden health emergencies, both families called off the ceremony indefinitely. Mandhana’s manager emphasised that her father’s recovery should remain the priority before any new wedding date is considered.
