Travis Head Breaks Silence After Heated Virat Kohli Clash With Four-Word Response

The IPL 2026 clash between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Sunrisers Hyderabad on Friday night had this sort of everything fans really like, honestly a blockbuster type contest. The friction between Kohli and Head had already begun, even during the match, cameras kept showing both players in animated back and forths throughout the contest.  

 

While chasing 256, Kohli looked really pumped up at the crease with Venkatesh Iyer beside him. In one phase, Kohli gestured toward Head and seemed to nudge the Australian star, as if inviting him to bowl.  

 

It happened in an over from spinner Shivang Kumar, when Venkatesh Iyer was really going after the SRH bowlers in a ruthless kind of manner. Kohli was also spotted doing motions that linked back to the IPL Impact Player rule, or at least that is what it appeared like.

 

In the end Head later answered it in a perfect way, or like nearly perfect, anyway. And yeah, he was surprisingly introduced late into the attack , the Australian part-time off-spinner removed RCB captain Rajat Patidar , who fought hard for his 56 from 39 balls. After that it became Travis Head's first IPL wicket in nine years, and also only the second wicket of his whole IPL career.

 

Earlier , in the innings, Kohli had celebrated quite passionately after Head got dismissed for 26 during SRH’s batting effort, just then. The fiery back and forth between Kohli and Head then turned into one of the main talking points of the match. Later, Head shared an Instagram story with the caption, “Keep The Body Guessing.”

 

 

Although Head didn’t really spell out Kohli, or that handshake moment , lots of fans still connected the post to what was happening out there on the field, mostly because of when it appeared.

RCBs solid net run rate kinda pushed the franchise to the top spot for the first time since 2011. Now RCB will take on Gujarat Titans in Qualifier 1 on May 26 at the HPCA Stadium. On the other hand SRH head into the Eliminator on May 27, but their rival is still not confirmed yet.
