Black Ops 7 meta assault rifle built to drop nuke streaks
Black Ops 7 has landed, bringing with it some exciting first-person multiplayer Call of Duty thrills. Now that gamers have enjoyed the better part of a day with the latest Call of Duty instalment, professionals have mastered the available weaponry.
And a two-time world champion claims he's discovered the ideal loadout with "no recoil". Content creator Apathy, whose real name is Bryan Zhelyazkov, champions the MXR-17 assault rifle. He maintains it's ideal for Black Ops 7 newcomers as well, since you don't need to unlock the weapon before using it. Apathy says it'll help you "dominate" gaining that all-important nuke to clear the opposition out.
In a TikTok clip, he detailed: "This class setup makes Black Ops 7 easy. First off, the MXR-17 has incredible TTK.
"It takes you out in just four [bullets]. On top of it all, it has amazing movement speed, great handling so you ADS (aim down sights) and sprint the fire quicker, and has no recoil.
"If you're just starting, you can acquire this loadout at such a low level and dominate the lobby." The two-time world champion recommends utilising the gunfighter wildcard to achieve the maximum eight attachments for your MXR-17 - though his configuration features just seven.
He also recommends avoiding the optic attachment as it "can lead to weird visual recoil". For the muzzle attachment, he proposes the Greaves Titan-R 7.62 compensator, before selecting the Rift-M7 Barrel - a hybrid attachment for enhanced damage range and bullet velocity.
Apathy also selected the quickstep foregrip underbarrel attachment to boost movement speed and manage horizontal recoil control. For the magazine, he opts for the Vault Extended Mag containing 30 rounds, whilst Apathy recommends the Aria Assail Grip as his preferred rear grip choice.
The stock he favours, the Greaves Covenant Stock, is engineered to enhance "movement speed". Apathy explains: "You can skip the laser or you can put one. I'm not a fan of lasers because they can see it."
Nevertheless, he did endorse the 3mW Motion Strike Laser should you decide to utilise all eight available attachments. For fire mods, he selected the Recoil Sync Unit for "extra recoil control".
