Home Minister Amit Shah To Review India-Pakistan Border Security In Rajasthan

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will begin a two-day visit to Rajasthan on Monday night to review border security and assess anti-drone measures along sectors bordering Pakistan. Shah is expected to chair a high-level meeting with senior BSF officials, intelligence agencies and district administrators, focusing on curbing drone-based smuggling of narcotics, arms and contraband in border districts such as Bikaner and Sri Ganganagar. He will stay overnight at the BSF Sector Headquarters in Bikaner before visiting the Sanchu Border Outpost on Tuesday to interact with BSF personnel during a ‘Sainik Sammelan’. Shah will also inaugurate women’s barracks virtually and participate in a plantation drive. Officials are expected to discuss laser fencing, surveillance upgrades and improved intelligence coordination in sensitive border areas.
