Ex-MLA's FB account hacked for misuse bid

JIND: A Facebook (FB) user from Jind , Vikas Poria, got messages from former Uchana Kalan MLA Bhag Singh Chhatar’s Facebook account, asking for Rs 20,000. The minister claimed his account was hacked on Wednesday.

Vikas had called Chhatar to ask why he needed the money, but the latter denied having sent any message.

Vikas said, “I received a message from the former MLA’s FB account in which it mentioned that he needed Rs 20,000 urgently. I called up the ex-MLA to confirm before depositing the money and found that his account had been hacked.” Meanwhile, Chhatar said he had asked his grandson to change the password of his FB account.
