Father, son killed in Bundi road mishap

Kota: A man and his son were killed on Wednesday evening after their bike rammed into a broken truck. The truck was pulled by a crane near Namana flyover on NH-52 under Talera police station area of Bundi district. The mishap happened after the crane driver suddenly applied brakes.

The duo died on the spot. The deceased have been identified as Nandlal Goyal (62) and his son Vinod Goyal (46).

Both were residents of Dugari village of Bundi district.

The son took his ill father to a doctor in Kota on Wednesday evening. The accident took place when they were on their way to home. A case of negligent driving has been lodged against the crane driver who was arrested, Talera police personnel added. tnn
