Female colleague Raped in Bhubaneswar: Man arrested

Bhubaneswar: An individual was captured Wednesday for purportedly assaulting his female associate under Khandagiri police breaking points of Bhubaneswar.

The character of the young lady is yet to be recognized. The young lady, filling in as housekeeping staff in an emergency clinic, was purportedly assaulted Tuesday.

The issue became exposed after she portrayed her trial before her relatives. In the mean time, the relatives of the unfortunate casualty stopped a grumbling with Khandagiri Police.

Based on the protest, the denounced was captured and exposed to cross examination. The unfortunate casualty has been admitted to a private emergency clinic in the city.

Upwards of 1,149 assault cases including assault of 604 minors were enlisted in the state in the initial a half year of 2019. The most elevated number of assault cases was accounted for from Keonjhar region in 2018 with 91, the number was 74 in Kalahandi, 67 in Balasore, 61 each in Koraput and Khurda, 60 each in Mayurbhanj and Nayagarh locale.

Eminently, a young lady was supposedly gangraped December 2 by two people, including one previous police officer, in Puri town. Both of the denounced were captured December 3.
