First Covid-19 case reported in Sikkim after student from Delhi tests positive

Gangtok: In a shocking development for the state of Sikkim, a boy who returned to the Himalayan state from Delhi developed Covid-19 symptoms on May 21, following which his sample was collected.

“His test results have come positive. Contact tracing has been initiated,” Dr PT Bhutia, State Health Director General, Sikkim, said.
