First international fight from Indore: Madhya Pradesh

Indore: Madhya Pradesh got its first universal flight Monday, when an Air India flight took off from Indore’s Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Airport to Dubai.

Indore MLA Shankar Lalwani, previous Lok Sabha secretary Sumitra Mahajan and Air India Chairman and Managing Director Ashwani Lohani were available on the event.

Lalwani said 24 lakh travelers come to Madhya Pradesh consistently. “To take into account these developing numbers, the legislature had arranged a terminal at the expense of Rs 476 crore. The work will begin soon,” he said.

BJP general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya complimented the inhabitants of Indore and the travelers of the Dubai flight.
