First-timers flock to Ayodhya after Supreme Court verdict: From Bihar to Gujarat

Ayodhya: Wearing a yellow kurta with ‘Jai Shri Ram’ prints and brandishing an unmistakable ’tilak’ on his brow, young person Shivam Kumar voyaged right from Bihar’s Rohtas locale to here, conveying a sack brimming with blocks to store at a Ram sanctuary workshop in the heavenly town. The November 9, Supreme Court decision on the Ayodhya debate was a snapshot of unbridled delight for the Ram enthusiast.

“I was simply too on edge to even think about coming to Ayodhya, thus I, alongside two different companions, chose to make a beeline for ‘Smash ki Nagari’ and contribute my bit for the sanctuary,” said Kumar.

Kumar, 16, joined lakhs of individuals in this sacred town who had merged here for ‘Kartik Purnima’ heavenly plunge Tuesday. A local of Dehri-on-Sone town in Rohtas, he is seeking after his graduation in science stream.

“This is my first visit to Ayodhya. I had never believed that I will come here unexpectedly early,” Kumar stated, as he painstakingly spread out red blocks on old heaps of a similar material brought by fans throughout the years to the rambling premises of a Ram sanctuary workshop being controlled by ‘Ramjanmabhoomi Nyas since’ 1990 at Karsewakpuram.

Viswa Hindu Parishad (VHP) representative Sharad Sharma said the quantity of fans visiting the workshop has spiked since the Supreme Court judgment on November 9.

“Saturday night, many individuals visited the workshop and the number has just increased throughout the following barely any days. Typically, around 1,000 individuals visit the workshop consistently. The number has now ascended to about 5,000. The Karsewakpuram workshop has become a major vacation destination,” Sharma said.

From far away Gujarat to neighboring urban communities in Uttar Pradesh, the rundown of novices visiting the site is expanding.

KP Yadav, 20, who originated from Moradabad, was seen taking selfies against the scenery of the ‘Ramshila’ divider set up by the VHP from the blocks which prior had been laid close to the Ramjanmabhoomi site, gave by Indians at home and abroad.
