Flood wreaks havoc in Bihar, 7-year-old innocent killed on drowning in Araria

Araria: Flood outbreak continues in 12 districts of Bihar. About 86 lakh people have been affected by the floods in the State. So far, 127 lives have been flooded. The death of a girl has been reported in Araria district on Saturday. According to reports, a seven-year-old innocent girl died after she slipped into a foot in the torrent near Tirsuliya Ghat in Nagar police station area of Araria district.

The villagers reported that the girl Alia was going to the shop to buy goods with her friends. Meanwhile, while crossing the torrent of water, the girl's leg slipped and fell into the edge of the Parman river. The flow of the river was fast, causing it to sink into the water. However, after the incident, the villagers somehow pulled the girl out of the water and took her to the hospital. But the girl died on the way to the hospital.

The death toll is likely to go up in the house of the deceased girl. The family members have been in a bad shape. According to official data, 13 people have so far lost their lives due to flood in Araria. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar has assured to extend all possible assistance to the flood victims.
