Former corporators asked to return identity cards by Panvel city municipal corporation

NAVI MUMBAI: The Panvel city municipal corporation has asked its former corporators to return their identity cards, letterheads and stickers used on vehicles among other things. The Raigad Collectorate has alerted the PCMC about the misuse of such items after the expiry of their tenure on July 9.

The civic chief in his letter dated August 10 addressed to all the former corporators mentions the use of PCMC name and logo on letterheads, nameplates, stickers used on vehicles, corporators identity cards, special executive officer stamps issued by the district collectorate even after their term has come to an end.

“The PCMC was alerted about the misuse of these items,” said a Raigad Collectorate official source. “The commissioner has asked former corporators to return all the items in their possession,” said Varsha Kulkarni , PRO, PCMC
