Four more test positive for Covid in Himachal Pradesh, tally mounts to 317

SHIMLA: In Himachal Pradesh, four new positive cases of Covid-19 have been reported from Solan district while two positive patients from the same district recovered and have been tested negative. State now has total 317 positive cases of which 199 are active, 109 cases have recovered, four have migrated out of state and five have died.

Those who have tested positive in Solan district includes one from Nalagarh, two from Chandi and one from Parwanoo. After they tested positive, district administration started tracing their travel history.

Bilaspur district has total 18 positive cases of which 11 are active while 7 have recovered, Chamba district has total 20 positive cases of which 9 are active while 11 have recovered, Hamirpur district has total 107 positive cases of which 78 are active, 28 have recovered while one positive patient has died, Kangra district has total 79 positive cases of which 50 are active, 28 have recovered while one has died and Mandi district has total 12 positive cases of which 6 are active, 4 have recovered while two have died.

Shimla district has total 9 positive cases of which 7 are active, one has recovered while one has died, Sirmaur district has total 4 positive cases of which 2 are active while 2 have recovered, Solan district has total 30 positive cases of which 18 are active, 8 have recovered while four have migrated out of state and Una district has total 37 positive cases of which 18 are active while 19 have recovered.

A total of 41,403 persons were put under surveillance in the state till Saturday, of them 16,695 have completed their 28 days of surveillance, while 24,708 are under active surveillance. So far 35,668 people have been tested for Covid-19, of which 34,933 have been tested negative and 317 have been tested positive.
