Talented director Guna Shekar’s mythological film Hiranyakasipa is one of the most awaited movies for a long time. The film is supposed to hit screens a couple of months back. But it has been delayed due to Rana Daggubati’s health and personal issues. The film, which is being planned on a massive budget of Rs 200 crores, wrapped its pre-production work. Guna Shekar roped Over 17 VFX studios for this project to look after special effects.
Now, as per the latest buzz in film Nagar circles, Rana Daggubati is in plans to walk out of the Hiranyakasipa project. Considering his health issues and Physical appearance Rana felt he might not look apt for the role of demon king Hiranyakashyapa. As per close circles of Rana, the actor felt gaining enough weight to look appropriate for the character takes a year. So Rana suggested Guna Shekar, to look for another option. Currently, discussions are going on Gunasekhar, and Suresh Babu is planning to sort it out as soon as possible.
On the other hand, Rana Daggubati also has another upcoming period drama titled Virata Parvam in his hand. The film is coming under the direction of Venu Udugula. Rana will join the shoot in a couple of months. Sai Pallavi is the female lead of the project. Suresh Bobbili is onboard to score music for Virata Parvam, and Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Creations are bankrolling it. Yesteryear actress Tabu will be seen in a crucial role.
