Gurmat Sangeet Samagam Held At Main Pandal Guru Nanak Darbar On Third Consecutive Day

In view of the 550th Parkash Purab celebrations of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji being organised by the Punjab government at Sultanpur Lodhi, gurmat sangeet samagam, kirtan darbar and kavishari were performed in a spiritual atmosphere in main pandal Guru Nanak Darbar on third consecutive day. A large number of pilgrims  attended these events today.On this occasion, Jatha of Bhai Baljit Singh Namdhari “Delhi Wale” recited Gurmat Sangeet, Bhai Sukhjinder Singh Hazoori Raagi Darbar Sahib and Dr Inderpreet Kaur recited kirtan.

Prof Manjit Singh, former Jathedar of Takhat Shri Kesgarh Sahib did “Katha” of Gurbani. Besides, Bhai Nishan Singh, Bhai Balwant Singh, Harjit Singh and Bhai Satinderpal Singh also performed Kirtan.The winner students of Punjab School Education Board competitions also presented recitations in the life and teachings of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Raminderjit Singh, Deputy Director (Open School) Punjab School Education Board, informed that Harmanpreet Singh and Group from Government Senior Secondary School, Maari Buchian (district Gurdaspur), Amandeep Singh and Group from Baba Jaswant Singh Senior Secondary School, Raunta (district Moga) performed Kavishari.
Paramjit Kaur and Group from Singh Sabha Girls School, Abohar (district Fazilka), Raghav Sarangal from DAV School Amritsar performed War’s, while Harmandeep Kaur from Bhai Ram Krishan Gurmat School Patiala, Harinder Kaur from Sant Baba Natha Singh School Amritsar and Harjit Kaur from Senior Secondary School, Panjoli Kalan (district Fatehgarh Sahib) presented speeches.
