Harbhajan Singh casts his vote in Jalandhar

Election season is on in India and Polling is currently underway in the seventh phase of the elections. Many Bollywood celebrties and cricketrs urged the fans to cast their vote. After MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli, veteran Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh also cast his vote in the ongoing 2019 Loka Sabha polls.

Harbhajan returned home last week after a successful campaign with CSK as he played a key role in his side's run-up to the final where they lost by just 1 run to Mumbai Indians to go down in the summit clash. After days of returning home Harbhajan was seen standing in a queue with others as he cast his vote at a polling booth in Jalandhar's Garhi village in Punjab. The spinner was recently plied his trade for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019.

Taking about Harbhajan’s performance, he was far from his best for CSK last season, produced an emphatic show with the ball this time around as he was one of the best bowlers of his side at home. Exploiting the turning conditions at Chepauk, Harbhajan weaved his magic and wreaked havoc on the opposition batsmen with his variations. Harbhajan finished the season as the third highest wicket-taker for CSK with 16 wickets from eleven games at an economy rate of 7.09.
