Hard Kaur is not the true face of Sikhs, says Manjinder S Sirsa; condemns her 'cheap words' against PM Modi

New Delhi: Days after flaying Bollywood A-listers for what he alleged was a "drug party" at Bollywood director Karan Johar's residence, Shiromani Akali Dal MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Tuesday hit out at rapper Hard Kaur for uttering “cheap words” against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Hard Kaur's Twitter account has also been suspended after she posted a 2.20-minute video in which she is seen using offensive words for the PM and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

She is also seen challenging PM Modi and the Home Minister to “come and fight" her.

Taking to Twitter, Sirsa condemned “the actions and words” of Hard Kaur in the “strongest possible words especially her cheap words against Nation’s PM”.

“Hard Kaur is not the true face of Sikhs and our emotions for the nation. Sikhs doesn’t betray their nation,” added Sirsa.

In the video, Kaur, who is seen standing with Khalistan supporters, also spoke in favour of the Khalistan movement. Hitting out at PM Modi and Amit Shah, Kaur said: "You use people! You use armies and people for your personal agenda."

She further alleged that the two leaders have not only “threatened” her but also her family, friends and fans.

“Why (are) you doing all these girly things? Like sedition charge, ‘we’re gonna rape you… we’re gonna kill you…’ Come and fight like a man,” she dared PM Modi and Shah.

Meanwhile, members of the Khalistan group who were in the video alongside Kaur, said, “Amit Shah, it is very easy to stand and speak in the Parliament, since the government, police and law, everything is under you. Amit Shah and Narendra Modi, this is for you. On 15 August, we’ll hoist our Khalistani flag in 15 nations. Stop us if you can legally.”

On June 20, Hard Kaur was booked in Varanasi under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including sedition, for her posts against Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
